The Canucks have just signed forward Jason Krog to a one-way contract. Krog played for the Chicago Wolves of the AHL last season. He played 23 games for Atlanta and NY Rangers in 2006-07.
The Penguins signed forward Kris Beech to a two-way contract earlier today. Beech played 25 games for 3 teams last season (Columbus, Vancouver and Pittsburgh), recording 11 points. The terms of both deals are still unknown.
