I was announced today former UND standout goaltender, J-P Lamoreaux has signed a one-year contract with the St. Louis Blues.
Lamoreaux was overlooked by most teams because he is small-in-stature, but impressed the Blues organization this summer when he was asked to participate in prospect camp. Lamoreaux will likely start the year with the Alaska Aces, the Blues ECHL affiliate, while Marek Schwarz and Ben Bishop are the favorites to compete for playing time in Peoria.
