Sundin Saga to Finally End?

As reported by a Swedish Newspaper, Sundin has decided he is going to be playing hockey in the National Hockey League, and will be with the Vancouver Canucks. Although Mats Sundin has not said it in public it is assumed that the announcement will be made sometime this week. Several teams seemed to be in the running for Sundin, with the Canadiens, Maple Leafs and of course the Canucks each involved. On July 1st Gillis tried to make his bold move by offering Mats Sundin to a 2 year 20 million dollar contract. It has been almost 3 weeks since the July 1st and each GM has patiently waited for the big Swed to make up his mind and join a team, or retire. Last season with the Toronto Maple Leafs Sundin recorded 32 goals and 46 assists.

NEW DEVELOPMENT: Sundin's Swedish Representatives Have Denied These Reports.
