Lehoux now a Habs

Center Yanick Lehoux signed a two-way deal with the Montreal Canadiens on friday. The Montreal native, played 10 games in the NHL, scoring 2 goals and adding 2 assists. He spent the 05-06 and the 06-07 season with the Phoenix Coyotes. But he signed a one year contract with the Khimik-Mytischi of the Russian Super-Liga last year.

Habs_Marc's take: Decent signing from Gainey, bringing in a hometown guy, who still need to prove that he can play in the NHL, but he can be a good addition for the Bulldogs. Lehoux will likely play in Hamilton next season, but he will battle for a roster spot at the training camp. Expect him to play as a 3rd/4th liner if he cracks the roster or if he is called up.
