More On Bouwmeester To Leafs

I have received more information on the Bouwmeester situation. More people are now saying that this deal is in the works as we speak, could get done anytime really. Bouwmeester to TO is likely to happen. I talked to Baltimore but of course he would not say anything, so i got no information from him. I have been told however that the rumored package is MUCH bigger than we think, and there would also be a player coming back along with J-Bo. I am still looking into it more to try and get some names for you guys..

Interesting...as for the players you previously mentioned, the only way I give up Steen and Stralman is if we are sure Bouwmeester will sign an extension and if Nathan Horton is coming with him, which probably wouldn't happen.

As long as Steen, Stajan, Stralman, Toskala or anyone the Leafs drafted this year are involved, I like it!

The only way I wouldn't mind Steen going is if it was Steen and McCabe for Olesz and Bouwmeester

Okay now this is getting a little tiresome.

You claim to have more information but you don't provide a single new piece of information.

Come on now.

Give these guys a break.....jesus are you all Habs/Sens fans or Leaf fans....i'm not getting my hopes up either, but still it looks good on paper...and i agree.....Horton would be better then a Booth.

Not a chance Horton or Olesz comes back in a trade. If Florida took McCabe off your hands thats a big help to you guys, plus you get Bouwmeester. You can't get Bouwmeester for free, Steen IMO is a career 3rd liner, Horton and Olesz are First Liners.

Sorry rend but your opinion is wrong. Steen was a point per game player after signing his extension last season. Not many ppg players spend their career on the 3rd line. Trading Steen AND Stralman for a potential UFA would be just stupid unless something else of value is coming back.
