MCCABE WAIVES NO TRADE CLAUSE?

According to Sportsnets Nick Kypreos Leafs D-man Brian Mccabe has waived his no movement clause. Florida appears to be the team he will be traded to for who were not sure. Im sure we will find out soon enough.

UPDATE: Appears as though Jay Bouwmeester Would Not Be Included In The Deal But You Never Know.

Kyperos has said don't expect Bouwmeester back in return, but i could see Van Ryn and Booth mabye. That would be a great trade for Toronto.

Ive heard maybee weiss might be involved. He's only 25 so he might fit in as well. Havn't seen much of him so i don't know what to expect.

I doubt it that would be huge for toronto though. It's such a shame that Toronto doesn't have the assets to land Jay, it looks like Florida is willing to move him , we just don't have what it takes.

I like JayBo but do the leafs really need another de-man. If they got him they would have to get rid of a few more D other than mccabe. Who knows what the leafs have up there sleeve. lol

Might be moving Mccabe before August 15th landing another d-man and then moving Kubina before his NTC kicks in. It should be interesting none the less.

McCabe, Devereaux, Blake, Ponikarovsky, White, Kronvall, Colaiacovo, a 2nd rounder pick and future considerations to Florida for Bouwmeester, Booth, Matthias, Olesz, Horton and Kilger.

LOL yeah that trade is realistic. Look more for Van Ryn and Booth for Mccabe and say Poni.

Florida
Philly
Boston
New York Isles
New York Rangers
Those are the teams that Brian is willing to waive to go to according to the Toronto Sun. I see Mccabe going to Philly and I see a decent package coming back in return as well.
