Sundin likely to wear Bleu, Blanc, Rouge

Like I was reporting earlier on the chat, I spoke briefly to JP Barry concerning Sundin and the Habs. I had heard that the Habs had received some "good news" from the Sundin camp so I asked Barry for confirmation. He told me that the Habs did indeed get some good news from Mats but would not tell me anything more than that. Now, with Eklund posting the quotes that he did, it seems like it's finally all falling into place, or like EK said "falling into the Habs lap". I know most of the time Ek isnt all that reliable, but i have been getting pretty much the same statements from the people that I have contacted.

I do know that Mats has not signed as of yet; he said he will make his decision on August 1st, so that is when he will decide. However, it does look as though he will be wearing Bleu, Blanc, Rouge this upcoming season, but ANYTHING can happen between now and the 1st of August.

I think your getting a lot of info from Hockey buzz. I seem to remember you saying that Ottawa signed Williams as well.

Kevin Lee was the only one putting that out.

No, i never once said anything about Williams, i recently started to post online. I just finished my sports management / player agent classes a few weeks ago. I have my contacts. If you were in the chat you should know that i posted my news on Sundin before Eklund posted his blog.

The site was stating that the Williams thing went down. I'm sorry I was speaking about the site in General "another blogger".

There was a user coming on the Buzz stating that the deal went through I'm not sure which blogger it was.

If Sundin signs, Dandenault is as good as gone. I would love to see something like this..

Tanguay - Sundin - Pacioretty
Kostitsyn - Plekanec - Kovalev
Higgins - Koivu - Kostitsyn
Latendresse - Lapierre - Laraque

if Sundin signs im pretty sure Higgins is out...There is no way they are gonna put Latendresse on a 4 line..and i love the way the last peep put Pacioretty with Sundin and Tanguay...It helps the young players to play with a good established player...

Kostisyn-Plekanec-Kovalev
Tanguay -Sundin -Pacioretty
Latendresse-Koivu-Kostitsyn
Kosto -Begin -Laraque
-Lapierre

Its wierd that JP Barry gave you the information about the habs as "GOOD NEWS". Why would he tell you that to start speculation. You are pretty pathetic to make shit like this up.

How about this... Habs call Barry and ask : " Is Sundin still considering us or we are out of the race ? " Barry reply : "Yes, we are still considering your contract offer " .....

That should qualify as "good news"

I find it interesting that since JP Barry is on vacation and not taking calls, that someone was able to talk to him, and also let slip the news that Sundin will be joining the Habs...FISHY, But damn I hope its turn out to be right, cause there's no way it's true...
