Murray To Kings Imminent

According to a few places around the web, the L.A. Kings are close to hiring Philadelphia Flyers assistant coach Terry Murray as Head Coach. The deal is imminent.

Here is a quote from ESPN Radio's Andy Strickland:

"Sources tell me the Kings are close to announcing Flyers Assistant Head Coach Terry Murray as the next Head Coach of the LA Kings. No one on the Kings staff has been notified of such hire.

Kings GM Dean Lombardi has been busy interviewing candidates the last few weeks.

Other names the Kings have been rumored to be interested in include Mike Sullivan, Kevin Dineen, Randy Cunneyworth, and current Kings Assistant Mike Johnston."

Stay tuned.....

I hope this happens this week. We could use a coach that knows what to do with a young roster.
