Jim Rutherford announced earlier today that the team avoided arbitration with RFA winger Chad Larose. The deal is worth $875,000 for one year. The 26-year old recorded 23 points in 58 games before going down with a season-ending injury (broken leg).

Only 875k for those kind of stats? This seems like a steal if he can be healthy next season. He'd probably get 25-35 points if he played the whole season.
I Recently Got An E-mail From A Reader Of The Site Who Is Also An Author. He Is Releasing A New Book In October And Asked Me If I Could Create Some Buzz On It, It's Called "The Hockey Player For Life". Anyway Heres A Link To A Video That Someone Made On The Book.

LaRose is quite the bargain as he's a PK specialist and can chip in a goal once in a while.
