Waiver Wire


The Atlanta Thrashers have placed veteran D-man Alexei Zhitnik on waivers, Zhitnik was acquired by Atlanta at the 2006-07 NHL trade deadline in exchange for Braydon Coburn.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed forward Duvie Westcott on waivers.
