The Deal is so close you can taste it! I have sent a email to Bryon Baltimore the agent for Bouwmeester and all I got back was "No comment". Now that means 1 of 2 things that the trade is done and were waiting on the NHL or there are other players and he couldn't confirm anything.
I have heard this several times in the past week including from precious Eklund and his damn Dog.
I can remember the specific post "Leafs leading way in Bouwmeester Sweeps" Anyway we here at Hockeybums don't have to lie or hide our identities because we are better then that. If you don't like what we right then don't read it but I don't know if you have noticed but in the past several weeks we have gotten and called more things right then any other website I have seen.
From the Leclaire signing to a few trades they were all called here 1st.
As for this trade we have stated that it wasn't confirmed in the posting and at this point its just chatter. But if it is wrong we will post that because we aren't afraid of being wrong thats what happens in the world of hockey.
Now back to the trade I have heard several names thrown around including Booth, Steen, Stralman, White and of course Bouwmeester and McCabe.
So until we have confirmation don't go blowing your tops!
By the way I am 25 thats not a kid.

jeez. you really should get an editor. you can hardly spell and it doesn't help your credibility. also, what's the point of swiping at eklund. that also looks very unprofessional and, ultimately, will hurt your image.
please, consider your spelling shortcomings. reading your posts is very irritating at times. get an editor if you can.
also, what trades did you post first here. i'm curious. you say that you broke the leclair story. but what trades have you broken?

I take shots at Eklund because at the time he was in Toronto on Sportnet doing the trade deadline show he made us look bad by calling trades that never happened.
Thats why I take shots at him since then he has been the laughing stock of the Toronto media and Sportsnet/TSN

If you guys want to seem credible, improve the grammar and lose the personal digs before you're considered a laughingstock yourselves. You're already getting a bad rep where people have spread your rumours.
I've been to hockeybuzz and i'm starting to get bored with the lack to excitement, and the Leaf fan bashing by HBz.com, certain blogger that most of us talk about hate reading his blogs, but would rather talk about Favres or Olympics just to make it interesting.
I think you guys are legit and don't over exaterate every little thing you hear....keep it up.
And i'm not happy about the Stralman thing.....but it makes some sense.....free up the cap space.

The following makes sense for both teams:
Bouwmeester for McCabe, Steen and White.
Adding Stralman into the mix would require A LOT more coming back to toronto.
Looking at it from Florida's POV, how many teams out there have one or two available top pairing defenceman? Not many.
Any team trading for JayBo before January takes a huge risk of not being able to resign him. The CBA only allows teams to renegotiate an extension in January of the last year of the contract.
Anyways let's all hope a trade along these lines does happen.
Some take it personally but then flame everybody else. If the rumours turn out to be bunk, who cares. But like The Source says, he's track record has been pretty good. If they nail the Boumeester thing, then this will be the go to site. Remember, Eklund started as a blog too and now his website through advertisement brings in 6 figures. If a 12 year old can do that (Scotty) then he will be the envy of a lot of people. Keep it up guys.

just got off the phone with one of my sources and he told me that Pittsburgh is shopping Malkin, possible destinations include Montreal and Edmonton. Players rumored to be involded on the Montreal side are Komisarek and Andrei Kotsitsyn...

Honestly, who gives a rat's you know what if there are spelling mistakes. We are here for the rumors... I have seen Ek make spelling mistakes as well... And these guys indeed broke the Leclair signing first as I was here when they broke it. Not to mention, they inform us of all the signings...
These are rumors people. Do most come true. NO! But it is fun thinking about the possibilities.
