Ex-Canucks forward Byron Ritchie signed a one-year contract with Geneva of the Swiss Elite League. Ritchie, 31, played 71 games for the Vancouver Canucks last season, recording 11 points and 80 penalty minutes. He also played for Calgary, Carolina and Florida during his NHL career.
The terms of the deal have not been disclosed yet.
