McCabe to Islanders?
News this morning and while its allready been reported here on our fine website I have a bit more info. According to a source close to the situation the Islanders have indeed inquired about the availability of 33 year old D Bryan McCabe.
The package offered to the Leafs was a little wrong however!
To Toronto:D Chris Campoli, 3rd round pick is the actual deal that I've heard whether this is correct I'm not sure at this moment but I will find out like I always do.
There is another rumor out there that the Leafs signed F Ladislav Nagy I would like to reiterate that this was false. TheFan590 1st reported this yesterday and I just want to make it clear that it is not true.
On D Pavel Kubina in 3 days the defensemans window to trade him closes I think its quite evident at this point he won't be moved I truly feel that there will be some kind of trade in the next few weeks leading up to training camp.
Fletcher has been quoted that he will attempt to make one of his "HOMERUN" trades we have yet to see it.

I would be more than happy if we get Campoli and a 3rd.. Much better than meyers, but somehow i think that no way the islanders give up that much for a player that a team doesnt want.
If I'm the Leafs and McCabe agrees to go to the Isles, I take that deal and run.
Absolutely no way the Isles do this deal.
I'd suggest the "source" to actually get a source. WRONG.
Making these kind of worded posts, you better be right, otherwise credibility goes out the window. Be very careful.
The Islanders are a horrible team thay would be lucky to have a player like Mccabe. If the Isles are offering Campoli and a third , I want at least a second coming back as well. Mccabe is worth way more then both of these mediocre rumored proposals. I see Bryan to NJ for Gionta , or moved to Philly for Hartnell.
IF there is any legs to this, it would be more likely to be Meyer and a 4th for McTrade
Hate to break that to the TO fans who overrate that they have ANY trade power for any deal.
Eklund has picked up the Mccabe to Florida rumor and has now mentioned perhaps Bouwmeester could be part of it.
Guys, this site is run and written by Children. This site has NOTHING to offer except wild guesses... I wont be back.
I want Hunter and Comeau for McCabe!
What a joke! Typical Toronto BS trade talk.
Would be a great trade for Toronto if that's what they could get done.
LISTEN UP NO ONE IS FORCING YOU TO BE HERE INCASE YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED OUR SITE HAS FAR MORE CREDIBILITY THEN MOST RIGHT NOW.
LISTEN UP, YOU ARE RUNNING A SITE TO GENERATE REVENUE. TO GENERATE REVENUE YOU NEED PEOPLE TO VISIT IT. YOU WANT PEOPLE TO VISIT IT, OTHERWISE YOU WOULDN'T HAVE MADE IT.
WHEN PEOPLE VISIT IT, AND QUESTION SOME OF THESE 'RUMORS', TRY TO SHOW A BIT OF MATURITY AND PROFESSIONALISM.
INSTEAD OF CRYING AND BITCHING EVERY TIME SOMEONE QUESTIONS YOU, MAYBE TRY TO PROVIDE SOME INSIGHT AND PROOF.
INSTEAD OF USING AN EKLUND RUMOR TO JUSTIFY THAT YOUR RUMOR IS TRUE, MAYBE ADD SOMETHING TO YOUR SITE THAT LISTS THE RUMORS YOU HAVE PREDICTED, AND HAD THE INSIDE SCOOP ON THAT CAME TRUE.
INSTEAD OF CLAIMING YOU HAVE MORE CREDIBILITY, GIVE PEOPLE SOME PROOF.
OTHERWISE PEOPLE WILL HAVE REASON IN BELIEVING THIS SITE IS NOTHING MORE THAN WILD GUESSES RUN BY CHILDREN.
Agreed, are these kids in junior high? They can't even spell. And they have bloggers that commit plagiarism.
Credibility is steadily declining, and if the beat writer whose words were copied and pasted on to this site gets wind of what this site did, I truly feel for the man-- the one who actually had to work to get his scoop.
