I would like to appologize I was searching the net and talking to some people and the Lightning although rumored to be interested are not. The source I got the info from had said the he talked to "ERLENDSON" about this and he said they still did.
So I don't know what to believe that was also a typo about the PK specialist I meant to say PP specialist.
Anyways I do appologize for the mix up.

That's ok, glad to see something out there....its hard to know which rumors are good and which are bad.
They're all bad rumors! He's not going to the rangers, why would they want him? I could see him goin to tampa cause they actually need a good defenseman! Either McCabe or Kubina to tampa by next friday. Jussi and another forward back to leafs. Tampa is overstocked on forwards. Its the obvious move.
McCabe to islanders for Witt. Straight up.
McCabe and Steen to rangers for Gomez.
Seeing as how desperate (not sure if thats the right word) Fletcher is rid the Leafs of McCabe, I don't see him getting much in return. Especially if McCabe's list is a short one. Teams on that list will have the advantage, not the Leafs.
how can one site post so many false rumors, admit that they're false, apologize repeatedly, have no credible sources... and yet is still up and running. close this site down before scotty gets his hopes up.

McCabe won't be traded until after Sept 1..I believe that is when TO pays him a 2 mil bonus..Then his remaining salary will be just over 4 mil per year for the remaining 3 years of his contract..5.75 against the cap..
Hahaha nice try on that trade. Blake, Poni and McCabe!!! Hey I'm all for it, that's a HUGE cap reief. But do the isles want that crap? NOPE... On a side note I think Blake is gonna get over 25 goals this year. Poni will improve. And ya McCabe is gone! This friday= Leafs blockbuster!!!
