A source in the Kings front office has told me the Kings are looking to sign a left shot defenceman. A few names that are being discussed are Bryan Berard, Marek Malik and Bret Hedican. The Ducks have also been in contact with Dean Lombardi about possible acquiring Mathieu Schneider. I think Schneider would make the most sense. The Ducks are desperate to trade him, he was once a King and he owns a home in Los Angeles.
