According to CKAC Montreal radio Station The Montreal Canadiens have traded there 1st round draft pick in this years draft(25th overall)for someone or something not revealed yet.
edit:Deal called off, deal Was supposed to be for rights to Sundin, gainey talked to Sundin and Sundin stated that he still was not sure if he would play this coming year.

This has to be to Toronto. Must be for Sundin. You'd think that the Hab's would want more then Sundin if they are going to give up their 1rst pick.
If he is dead set on the Hab's Gainey could just sign him as the UFA. Seems like maybe the leafs are packaging another player in that deal. If it is in fact them
I think that Sundin hates Cliff now too. It will be interesting to see where he signs this season.
I think that the Leafs fab 5 are trying to make it as hard as possible for Cliff to make any changes or gain anything to make him self look good.
