Despite everything that Eklund saying being a lie he has finally said something that may be true!
Tonight when I talked to Darren Dreger he said there are rumblings that a shakeup is on the horizon in the Upper Echelon of Leafs Management.
Word on the street is that due to the current situation in Anaheim with the Samuelis there was a clause in Brian Burkes contract that he could ask for his release if there were any legal problems with the team or ownership.
There is speculation tonight that Burke has done just that and may be on the verge of being named the GM of the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Fan 590's Howard Berger has been saying all summer that Burke would be named GM of the Leafs before the beginning of training camp. He may have been right!
Stay tuned everyone the Leafs situation is getting good.

It's funny Burke is a smart hockey mind, but I seeing some of the things he's done lately Andy Mcdonald for Doug Weight, the signing and buying out the next year of Todd Bertuzzi, I don't know if I want Brian here.
