Radulov To Russia OFFICIAL!
After yesterday with the news of Radulov parting ways with the Predators to head to Russia, The rumors have now been confirmed as truth. TSN reports Radulov is headed to play for Ufa,Russia in the KHL(Kontinental Hockey League). The deal is worth about 24 million over 3 years which is an average of 8 million dollars per year. Various reports had this as a false rumor and even the Predators had no idea what was going on. The NHL had reached an agreement with The Russian Ice Hockey Federation that would stop the Russian Teams from offering crazy amounts of money to lure players from the NHL when the player still has years left on his NHL contract. Who knows though could Radulov have approached the Russian team?

The deal is not "to stop Russian teams offering crazy amounts of money". It's simply to respect existing contracts.
