Goaltender Mike Smith has been extended for two years by the Lightning. The 26 year-old Smith, was acquired from Dallas in the Brad Richards trade at the trade deadline last season. The Kingston native appeared in 13 games with the Bolt last year, posting a 2.79 GAA and a .893 save percentage.
