New rumor today has the Philadelphia Flyers making a huge offer to Mats Sundin. The Flyers dont have much room under the cap so if this happens they will definitely be making some moves.

I believe that they are actually over the cap, according to a posting done over at the HockeyBuzz forums. Now, pending some maneuvering (*i.e. trades and or buyouts) then MAYBE it is possible.
The Flyers need a puck moving d-man, not a centre (Briere, Richards, Carter), this is absolute non-sense. They might make a pitch for Bouw, but not for Sundin!
There is a rumor that Colorado is really interested in Mats seeing as Sakic might retire.
Last i heard on the Sundin case was that he has offers from Montreal, Vancouver, Toronto as well all know. A few people were talking about a 4th team joining the race, but as of right now none of the people that i talk to have been able to confirm it. Checked into it and the Flyers are not even thinking about Sundin. Just doesnt fit.
