My Intro Blog!

Hey Guys! I'm AC, a big and smooth guy with a huge passion for the AJHL. I live in a city called Langford for the school year and then I'll usually make a trip to Alberta in the summer. I also have a heart of gold but when watching hockey I can be known as the "Crazy Man". So that's pretty much all the personal stuff you really need to know about me so I'll continue onto the "good" stuff!

I'm a huge fan of the Okotoks Oilers of the AJHL. The Oil' are a very exciting team in my opinion and even though they haven't won anything yet, I think they're one of the best teams in this league. Like they've got a balance of big & small players, a great coaching staff & front office and a fantastic fanbase. What else could you want, they've also made the playoffs in all three seasons thay played! So those reasons alone should get you following the Oilers!

But their is another reason and that is the AJHL! Here is just a quick snap - shot of what I think of the league: "The AJHL is about helping players show their talent and developing players skills sets to get into the big leagues. So I think what the league stands for is respect, patience and knowledge as the coaches have amazing patience, the players all respect each - other and I think what you get out of the league is knowledge. Also. the level of hockey is Junior A and I really believe that it's the best one around".

So yeah that's the reason I follow the Okotoks Oilers, and I really hope all of you liked me blog as I'll definitely be back for more!

McCabe lowers stance willing to talk trade!

This only puts more gasoline on the fire according to the Toronto Sun and Cliff Fletcher Bryan McCabe is willing to be traded. This comes during speculation of a Jay Bouwmeester deal to the Leafs.

"Bryan is starting to think about possibly getting his career started somewhere else," said Fletcher. "We'll leave him alone. He's going to get back to us in a couple of weeks. There's not going to be any issues. I'm really confidant it's going to be resolved amicably before training camp."

Which is good for Leaf fans who many didn't want another Larry Murphy fiasco.
Expect the rumors to fly out of Toronto now as training camp gets closer.

The days of McCabe are over.

J-Bo to Leafs not happening YET!

Speaking to Darren Dreger and he said he knows that Florida and Toronto are talking but he wouldn't guarantee that it was for D Jay Bouwmeester.

"Well ***** I wouldn't say its for Bouwmeester but there is something going on between the Leafs and Panthers"

That was the exact quote he gave me.

But he also said that it doesn't mean that isn't the deal being worked out and that fans of our website shouldn't think that it isn't being talked about between Fletcher and Martin.

On another note he has confirmed that the Leafs are going to pull a "HOMERUN" trade in the coming days maybe as early as next Friday but he had no info on who or where anyone would be going.

Anyways so don't get to worried the deal is still out there in the vast reaches of space!

Mathieu Schneider And Selanne Situations

This article is to clear up the whole Schneider Situation and also Selannes situation:

Schneider Situation:
The Ducks are trying 100% to get Schneider moved before training camp. Many offers have come in, they are waiting for the biggest one. The teams creating most buzz around the organization according to a guy inside the organization are: New Jersey,LA,Washington,Dallas And Montreal.
That does not meen he will go to one of those teams but those are the most talked about teams.

Selanne Situation:
this is small update but hey ITS AN UPDATE
Apparently Selanne is started to burn his Bridges with the Ducks because the team simply cannot reach him.

I know we all just want this to get done so we can stop talking about it but more has come through on the J-Bo trade. As we have been saying for a few days now people really feel that this is the "HOMERUN" deal that Fletcher was talking about.

Tonight I have solid info on the deal and the possible players involved. As RenD mentioned it is looking more and more like this deal will go down before training camp.

The players I have heard as of now are as follows:

To Florida: McCabe, Steen, White/Stralman, and a cond 1st round pick 2010

To Toronto: Bouwmeester, Booth, 2nd rounder in 09

AND ONCE AGAIN THIS IS NOT CONFIRMED SO STOP FREAKING OUT WERE GIVING YOU NAMES AREN'T WE??

I said tonight that the deal may get done closer to Kubinas deadline or just before training camp. I think this would be a solid deal for both teams. Mind you McCabe would have to agree to be waived and some people around the NHL feel like he is leaning closer to doing that.

Hey everyone,

On Behalf of myself id like to apologize to the website, the visitors and the bloggers on this site for the big stir ive caused with the whole Jay Bouwmeester to Leafs rumor. However it has not been announced as false. The rumor is still out there. I feel that you may find us fake and phony thats your opinion and im sorry if you feel that way. We are just trying to give all of you a hockey site to go to where you can talk discuss and even hear rumors whether you think there false or true.

More On Bouwmeester To Leafs

I have received more information on the Bouwmeester situation. More people are now saying that this deal is in the works as we speak, could get done anytime really. Bouwmeester to TO is likely to happen. I talked to Baltimore but of course he would not say anything, so i got no information from him. I have been told however that the rumored package is MUCH bigger than we think, and there would also be a player coming back along with J-Bo. I am still looking into it more to try and get some names for you guys..
